Our Story
ChillBear Confections was born from a love of baking instilled in me by my mother, the support of my husband and a desire to bring quality, and unique, bold flavors to everyday desserts. Many of the products we feature were recipes taught to me me by my father-in-law, whose culinary traditions introduced me to tastes not often found in typical American sweets. Inspired by my passion for baking , brining people together and quality, each batch is handcrafted with care using simple, wholesome ingredients—no artificial additives or shortcuts.
The name “ChillBear” is deeply personal, a phrase meant to bring calm and comfort, reflecting the feeling we want to share through every bite. The name ChillBear Confections comes from a special phrase my husband uses to help me find calm and relax (without the ever annoying phrase, "relax")
Based in Rhode Island, ChillBear Confections is dedicated to producing small-batch treats for small order, large orders and everything in between. Whether at farmers markets, special events, or online, we see every order as a chance to grow locally and connect the people around us.
